Blandy's Dogwood Lane
Original Pastel on sanded paper, painted en plein air at the Blandy Experimental Farm Plein Air Festival. This lovely, shaded scene is what greets and refreshes you on a hot day, walking the farm trails. Dry stacked walls add an historical charm. I was moved to paint this scene to capture the drama of the light streaming in and especially in the distance. I am so happy that this pastel will join the other in my 2023 Christmas Virginal Plein Air and Studio Sale. This pastel would make a lovely addition to any room. The 12x16 original was priced at $695.
